• A pallets MAP system for tomato was developed using micro-perforated LDPE bags. Physico-chemical and sensory characteristics were evaluated over storage at 6 °C. Silica gel used which diminished water vapor condensation inside packaging delayed colour evolution, firmness loss, decay of throughout storage. The with extended the shelf-life until 21 days. modified atmosphere (MAP) in its effect on physico-chemical evaluated.
